Bobbie L. Ferguson, 76, Formerly of Taneyville, MO.
Bobbie passed away on Wed. May 23, 2018 at Forsyth Nursing and Rehab in Forsyth, MO., with family at her bedside. She was born in Kissee Mills, Missouri on May 9, 1942, daughter of Edward and Flora (Collins) Beeler.
Bobbie was raised in Taney County Missouri. After marriage, Bobbie followed her husband’s career with the US Navy moving many times.
Bobbie retired as a hostess and cashier from Red Lobster in Springfield, MO., after 20 yrs. She was a certified medical technician and worked at Care Centers in Christian County. She was an active charter member of the VFW Auxiliary in Ozark, MO., and was well known for the biscuits at the Monthly VFW Breakfasts. In 2007 she relocated to Taneyville, MO., to be closer to family. She kept busy by being a board member at Delmina Woods Youth Facility of Forsyth, MO., helping out at Busy Bear Day Care and decorating cakes.
Bobbie is survived by her children, Richard Ferguson and wife Rebecca of Okotoks, Canada, Angela Friesen and husband Rick of Driggs, ID., and
Randy Ferguson of Coppell, TX.; grandchildren, Dawn Means, Jeremy Means, Tiffani Friesen, Macallan Ferguson, Caitlyn Ferguson and Ryan Ferguson; great-granddaughters, Cai Friesen-Ferrell and Quinsie Butler; siblings Betty Aldridge of Kissee Mills, MO., Linda Worster and husband Charles of Forsyth, Shirley Shipman and husband Terry of Taneyvillle, MO., Ernest Beeler of Bruner, MO., Connie Jennings and husband Frank of Independence, MO., and Donna Blair and her husband Larry of Bradleyville, MO.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Ferguson; brothers Junior Beeler, Cecil Beeler and sister Frances Clift .
Visitation will be on Mon., May 28 from 5 to 7 PM., funeral service will be on Tues., May 29, at 10:00 AM at Whelchel Grace Funeral Home. Burial will be at Brown Cemetery, Kissee Mills, MO.
