Frank Taber, 70, formerly of Branson, MO
Frank Taber passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Fayetteville, AR. He was born Oct. 26, 1947 at Harrisonburg, VA, the son of Howard and Joyce Ann (Witt) Taber.
Frank received a BS degree from Occidental College in California, and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
On a trip to Branson in the 1980’s, Frank was so dissatisfied with his lodging location that he decided to build a facility to meet his needs – the Atrium Inn on Green Mountain Drive, where he resided until moving to Omaha, AR in 2006. Frank had many business adventures. In the late 1990’s he purchased the Dairy Queen on Hwy 76. After moving to Omaha, AR he worked on investments from his home. He was a world traveler, always looking for his next journey. He also loved fine dining, and celebrated 20 years together with his wife, Robin.
Survivors include his wife Robin Crouch Taber of Omaha, AR.; sister, Gail Heller and husband Jack of Mesquite, NV.; Children, Melody Burkhart and husband Jeff of Good Hope, MO., Quentin Willcockson and wife April of Kissee Mills, MO., and Dana Marsh and husband Paul of Forsyth, MO.; Mother In-law Wanda Crouch of Forsyth, MO.; 9 grandchildren, MaKaylee Goodwin and husband Cody of Forsyth, MO., Coltin Burkart, Aleeah Burkhart, and Galilee Burkhart all of Good Hope, MO, Calvin Cook and Jonathan Cook of Kissee Mills, MO., Haylee Marsh, Devon Marsh, and Isabelle Marsh of Forsyth, MO.; great-grandchildren; Gracyn Brown and Havyn Goodwin; niece, Colette and husband Glen Bertrand and nephew, John Clark; great-niece, Larisa and 2 great-nephews, Ty and Colt.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be on Sat. May 26, 2018, at Bryant Ridge Church at Taneyville, MO., from 1:00PM till service time at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Snapp Cemetery in Forsyth, MO. Services have been entrusted to Whelchel Grace Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
