Mickel Dell Aldridge of Highlandville, MO. 1957 ~ 2019
Mickel Dell Aldridge, 61, passed away on April 15, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO., surrounded by family and friends by his side. Mickel had the most loving, kind and gentle heart.
Mickel was born October 12, 1957 at Skaggs Hospital in Branson, MO., to Francis and Alice (Henson) Aldridge of Protem, MO. On January 30, 1982 Mickel and Betty Coats were united in marriage in Protem, MO. He was a 1975 graduate of Forsyth, MO., High School.
Mickel retired as a forklift operator from Queen City Warehouse in Springfield after 22 years of service. Mickel was a faithful member of the OTO Church in Hurley, MO. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, metal blacksmithing, worshipping the Lord and spending time with his family. One of his greatest joys were his nieces and nephews, whom he spoiled terribly.
Mickel was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He is survived by his wife Betty of 37 years, 3 brothers Joey Aldridge and wife Denise of Kissee Mills, C. B. and wife Pam of Reuter, Eudell and wife Debbie of Taneyville; 1 sister Gayla Braley and husband Daniel of Forsyth and sister-in-law Judy Zeine and husband Ray of Springfield; 5 nieces, Taunja of Springfield, Lorena and husband Ted of Branson, Amanda and fiance’ Curtis of Ozark, Kristina and husband Andy of Reuter, Abigail and husband Brandon of Branson; nephew Bobby and wife Ashley of Taneyville; along with many great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mickel will start with visitation Thursday from 6 PM until 8 Pm at Whelchel Grace Funeral Home, followed by Graveside Services Friday at 1 PM at the Kissee Mills Cemetery on O Highway.
