Angela Marie Hansen

1968 - 2021

Kissee Mills

Some people only have the privilege to walk this earth for a very short time.  When their departure occurs, they leave footprints in our hearts that help us push through grief and give us strength to carry on their legacy.  In the morning hours of Sunday, July, 18th Angela Marie Hansen gained her angel wings and rejoined her heavenly family and friends.

Those that knew Angela know how much she loved her family, friends, and most of all her son Caleb.  She loved all her nieces, nephews as well as her great nieces and nephews.

There was nothing better than going on an “adventure” with Angela. She was quick to smile, quick to laugh, and quick to hug. She had the best hugs! She loved gathering to play cards or board games and loved being the life of the party.

Angela contracted the COVID virus about a month before she gained her wings.  Prior to her being sick, she always talked about how wonderful it would be to see her Mom again.  Now she gets to be with her in heaven for an eternity.  Her last social media post was on the 8th year anniversary of her mother’s passing.  Angela’s writings were filled with how much she missed her and that she longed for the day they could be together again.  No one expected it to be this soon, but God had other plans.  She is missed by so many and her love stretches across the globe.  Be sure to tell those that are most important to you, how much you love them, because our time on earth is not unlimited.  Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain.

Until we see you again Angela, we love you so much and will miss you dearly.

A memorial fund is being established for her son Caleb.  Please mail that contribution to Philip or Kimberly Hansen, 3859 S. Farm Road 205, Rogersville, MO   65742.  Other cards or memorial gifts to the donor’s choice are also appreciated.  Cards may also be mailed to Greg Hansen at 1028 US Highway 160, Theodosia, MO   65761.

Angela was one of my dearest friends. It doesn’t matter that we hadn’t seen each other in many years because we always had a deep connection. We met when we were young and full of energy! We had so much fun bar hopping and exploring on weekends after long weeks working as nannies in New York. Then we both moved to NJ and settled down (a bit). My husband and I think she is one of the best people we’ve ever known. She called me Bubba and my husband Yappy! So obviously when I had a baby, he was little Bubba or little Yappy. She had cute names for just about everyone. We have many inside jokes that only her and I get. When I met her Mom and Dad, then I fully understood Angela. She loved her family so very much!! I’m going to miss popping in on FB messenger whenever something pops in my head to tell her. We checked on each other so often and I can’t believe she’s gone. I’m praying for her family and Caleb to be strong. We will all get to see her again. She’ll be watching over us and ready to greet us when our time comes. I’ll leave with this. If I dreamed up a perfect friend in my head, she wouldn’t be any better than Angela. Her laughter, her boisterous personality and her loving ways made her incredibly special and she will missed. Until we meet again my friend!
Nikki, Jaafar and Noah (Bubba, Yappy and little Yappy) XO

I can’t believe Angie is gone. It’s been so many years but I think about you all often. We all had so much fun together back in the days in Rising City. Angie was always so much fun to be around. Bless you all and I’m sure she’s with your mom now.
My deepest sympathy.
