Obituary

Arthur Edwin Coleman, 89, of Forsyth passed away May 15, 2023, at Ozark Nursing and Care. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Pearl (Ruth) Coleman; wife Katie Clarkson Coleman; two sisters Mary Guerin and Ina Whaley; two sons Paul and Brent Coleman of Texas.

He is survived by his son Chris Coleman of Baytown, Texas, and sister Julia Slocum of Ft. Worth, Texas; granddaughters Jessica Pruitt and Deanna; grandsons Ryan and Josh Coleman; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was born in Fontanelle, Iowa, the son of Arthur and Pearl (Ruth) Coleman on May 1, 1934.

Arthur graduated from Forsyth High School before proudly serving in the US Navy.  After being honorably discharged he worked many years as a salesman in the Auto Parts Industry.

Arthur also served three years as the Mayor of Forsyth, Missouri. 

Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be held at a later date.
