Charles L. Stinnett, Jr., 95, of Forsyth, Missouri, went to be with The LORD on Monday, December 05, 2022, just two weeks shy of his 96th Birthday Celebration.
Although the family was preparing for a Birthday Party, GOD had a bigger plan in mind. Bringing Chuck Home to finally reunite with his wife, Bernadine; infant son, Michael, great granddaughter, Abby, parents, Berdie and Charles Stinnett, Sr., his sisters Connie & Louise; and his brother J.C., who had all gone Home before him.
Chuck was born in Detroit, Michigan, moved to Illinois with his parents, where he lived until he joined the NAVY in 1944 and was stationed on the USS Roi, an Escort Carrier of the US NAVY.
On a vacation trip to the Ozarks, he met and married Bernadine Keithley from Forsyth, Missouri. They were married for 65 years.
Survivors include daughters Deborah Baltz of Kissee Mills, Missouri, Beverly Ann and her husband Roger Simons of Davidson, North Carolina, sons, Gary Stinnett of Collinsville, Illinois, Scott Stinnett and wife Chris of Fairview Heights, Illinois, and Shane Stinnett and wife Lisa of Lebanon, Missouri; grandchildren Brent and wife Carrie, Kara Stinnett, Bryan Simons and wife Sandy, Noah and Tanner Stinnett, Brittney Baltz, Christol Forrester, Kage Stinnett and Collin Scheller, Graycie, Peyton, Hayley, EJ Davis; great- grandchildren Sofia, Owen, Cierra, Falon, Nicholas, Freedom, Brittany and Madison; great, great- grandchildren Gwendalynn and Javelin; nieces, nephews, and other loved family and friends.
