Georgia A. Davis, 86, of Rockaway Beach and Merriam Woods area, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at Riverview Manor in Ozark, Missouri.
She was born December 27, 1934 in Hayesville, Iowa to James Hart and Evelyn Tucking Hart. She grew up in southeast Iowa attending country school before moving to Delta finishing her sophomore year there.
She was united in marriage to Allan S. Davis on January 6, 1951 in Fort Pierce, Florida. To this union was born Peggy Ann Miller; Polly Ann Lucas of Sigourney, Iowa; and James Allan Davis of Wichita, Kansas.
Georgia worked for many years as a waitress in Rockaway Beach and the Branson area. The last several years she worked as a Grandma Volunteer at Cedar Ridge Primary in Branson helping the preschool children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Peggy and a great-grandson, Wyatt Miller.
Those left to celebrate her life are her daughter Polly, her son James, seven grandchildren: Jason Lucas, Jeff Lucas, Danielle Lucas, Ira Miller, Corey Miller, Joe Miller, and Ammie Miller; along with twelve great-grandchildren.
Georgia will be buried at a later date in the Sixteen Cemetery in Thornburg, Iowa.
