Peter James Kallstrom

September 28, 1962 ~ September 3, 2021 (age 58) 58 Years Old

Peter James Kallstrom, 58, of Bradleyville.

Peter passed away September 3, 2021.  He was born in Putnam County, New York, the son of Robert and Nola (Gardinier) Kallstrom.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jeffrey Kallstrom.

He is survived by his wife Juvy of Bradleyville and his beloved dog Whiskey; sisters Laura and husband Mike Cantinieri of Wingdale, New York, and Dawn Staton of Phoenix, Arizona, daughter Christian and husband James McGinnis of Bradleyville, son Cody Kallstrom of Bradleyville; four grandchildren Hunter, Henry, Waynie, and Hadlee; nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Peter worked in many occupations during his life, such as a commercial painter, holding a Class A Commercial Driver’s license so he could drive a semi, and also worked in the union as a construction worker, and finally, maintenance work.

In his spare time, he loved working around the house painting, landscaping, cooking, and listening to Classic Rock.  He was a great mechanic and could work on just about anything you put in front of him, such as vehicles, boats, and motorcycles.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and putting around the yard on his minibike with son Cody.  His most favorite hobby was hooking on the boat and spending his day on the lake catching fish.

His children were his pride and joy, always enjoying his visits with his grandchildren and spending time together as a family.  He was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene in Kissee Mills, where he and his wife were recently saved.

A Celebration of Life will be held September 18, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Kissee Mills.
