Virginia (Ginger) Lee Sloan

Virginia (Ginger) Lee Sloan, age 82, of Kissee Mills, Missouri passed away on March 31, 2023, at Cox Hospital in Branson, Missouri.

Ginger was born May 31, 1940, in White Salmon, Washington to Willie and Juanita (Richardson) Sloan.  She attended Possum Trot school near Brown Branch, then Bradleyville, Colorado, and then back to Bradleyville.

Ginger married Vernon Sullenger and they had two daughters.  She later married Larry Soutee.  She lived in several places in Missouri and also several other states before settling in Kissee Mills, Missouri.

Ginger worked at FASCO in Ozark, and many years traveling with Larry hauling trailer houses all over the country.  She also worked various other jobs throughout her life.  She enjoyed reading, fishing, crocheting, and watching westerns on TV.  She also loved her pets like they were her own children, and always had at least one dog.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents; her infant brother John William; brother Steve Sloan; sister-in-law Alice Sloan; and two sons-in-law Bryon Porter and John Mills.

She is survived by two daughters, Sue Porter and Venessa Mills; four granddaughters Deana and Roger Magnuson, Kesha and Frank Schreiber, Amy Mills, Jenna and Austin Harris; four great-grandchildren Brayden and Brianna Schreiber, Ryan and Reid Magnuson, and one on the way; one sister Karen and husband Bob Case; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
